Faith didn't build the ark
Faith is so important to provide motivation, hope and ongoing support. “Without faith it is impossible to please God”. Faith, however, “without action though is dead”. Our mission is balanced with both.
We believe that positive change will occur in Haiti. Our mission has faith in the transformational power of God, to those that will accept His grace. There is no question that God will empower those helping the needy, widowed and oppressed.
We partner with many donors and supporters to put that faith into action. The programs provided are necessary to make the difference, driven by faith, in the results we expect. For all of us and Noah, the correlation between faith and action is a strong one. The more we believe the more we will do. When the action’s difficulty increases the underlying faith must increase correspondingly. Noah diligently worked for 50+ years building and then supplying the ark despite worldwide resistance and derision. His faith was strong and so were his actions. So what do we believe? Do we have faith in God’s will for Haiti? Are we willing to take action to match our professed faith?
