January 2023 Journey
In this edition our clinic is the highlight.
Challenges: It has been quite a journey with a 400% increase this year despite challenges that greatly impacted other care centers and hospitals. Our clinic remained open during
- The unrest
- Lack of fuel
- Cholera outbreak.
Cholera: This disease turned deadly but our clinic mitigated the impacts by providing care. We also provided consulting to our villages and partner schools.
Expansion: To help address the need, we are expanding our medical facilities. Christella's restaurant is being used to provide more space and she will be using her gifts to help us with care. We are also adding a lab for quicker results and expanding our doctor staff. We need this capability to meet our student's, staff and healthy community needs. Consider giving to this project.
In 2023 we are going to highlight a couple of students as they progress throughout the year. Watch for those updates as we progress through the school year.
